At Apetahi, we are driven by a passion for ‘Ori Tahiti, the vibrant heartbeat of Polynesian culture, and a commitment to empowering ‘Ori Tahiti dancers. Founded in San Francisco with a second home in Kona, Hawaii, our nonprofit was born from a vision to support and uplift dancers, preserve Tahitian heritage, and foster global connections through the art of dance and the rhythm of the Pehe (drum beat).
We share the spirit of ‘Ori Tahiti by empowering dancers through workshops, cultural education and training, and events that bring communities together. From local performances to international stages, we celebrate Polynesian traditions, inspiring audiences and dancers alike.
